Level: Open Class Percussion

Bluebird is a haunting work based on the poem by Charles Bukowski of the same name. The lines from the poem set the tone for the show like "There's a Bluebird in my heart that wants to get out, but I'm too tough for him." This show has subtle yet clear layers that make it very memorable.

Originally commissioned by Ancient City Ensemble 2017 (WGI PIO Semi-Finalist). Original visual design by Jason Nunes and Josh Wendt. Some additional licenses are required.
